ADAM McLeish admitted he was just happy to complete his Winter Olympic debut in one piece after torrential weather threatened to ruin the men's parallel giant slalom.

The 30-year-old battled through his two qualification runs but with only the top 16 from a field of 30 progressing through to the quarter-finals the Canadian-born Scot missed out.
